GOVERNMENT TO CONSULT COMMUNITY ON M5 WIDENING

Interlink Roads, owner and operator of the M5 South West Motorway, welcomes the NSW Government’s announcement that it is commencing community consultation on upgrading the M5 corridor.

General Manager of Interlink Roads, Rex Wright, said Interlink looks forward to future discussions with the NSW Government to explore potential solutions for the M5 South West Motorway.

“With its proximity to Sydney Airport and Port Botany and connections to Sydney’s south west communities, the M5 corridor is a vital link in the Sydney motorway network,” Mr Wright said.

“Interlink is committed to working in partnership with the NSW Government to ensure the M5 delivers benefits for customers, the surrounding road network and local communities.”

Interlink Roads owns and operates the M5 South West Motorway. The M5 South West Motorway is a 22 kilometre motorway, from King Georges Road in Bexley to Camden Valley Way in Casula. It sits between the M5 East and Westlink M7 on the Sydney Orbital Network.
