Welcome to the M5 South West Motorway ‚ The M5 South West Motorway
is a key part of Sydney’s orbital road network
and links central Sydney to the South West, Southern Highlands, Canberra
and beyond. The M5 covers 22 km and avoids numerous sets of traffic
lights. Since its completion, the M5 has saved Sydney motorists countless
hours and millions of dollars, reduced air, noise and water pollution
and made travelling faster and safer for everyone.

Works
**Bridge Maintenance**
Where: Henry Lawson Drive Overbridge both carriageways
When: Sunday 16th to Thursday 20th November 8pm-5am
Please note there will be dual lane closures for the duration of the works.
**Guardrail Repairs**
Where: East of Henry Lawson Drive in the eastbound left hand shoulder and westbound left hand shoulder between Queen Street and Beaconsfield Road.
When: Wednesday 19 November November 8pm-5am
Please note there will be lane and shoulder closures and speed restrictions for the duration of these works.
**Motorway Sweep**
1. Where: King Georges Rd to Toll Plaza
When: Wednesday 19 November 10pm-4am
2. Where: Toll Plaza to Camden Valley Way
When: Thursday 20 November 10pm-4am
3. Where: Ramps and bridge decks east of Toll Plaza
When: Tuesday 26 November 10pm-4am
4. Where: Ramps and bridge decks west of Toll Plaza
When: Wednesday 27 November 10pm-4am
Motorists are always requested to exercise particular caution and follow any directions, diversions or temporary speed limits while roadworks are underway.
